ParkingPro-Ads processes personal data carefully, transparently and fully in line with the GDPR and ePrivacy rules. This policy explains what data we process, why, for how long and which rights you have.
Data controller
ParkingPro-Ads is the advertising platform within the ParkingPro ecosystem and acts as data controller for the data collected through this website. For any privacy or data protection question, contact privacy@parkingpro-ads.eu.
Data we process
Through our forms we process the contact and company details you provide: name, job title, department, company, address, email address, phone number, contact preference and the content of your request (segments, formats, markets, budget indication and timing). Our servers also process technical log data such as IP address, browser type and request timestamp.
Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to handle your request and send the media kit (performance of, or steps prior to, a contract), to contact you about our advertising options (legitimate interest: business communication), to keep the website secure and functional (legitimate interest) and to place optional cookies (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Advertising without individual profiles
Our advertising targeting is contextual and based on location and moment: airport, booking moment, trip type and language. We do not build personal traveller profiles for advertisers and never share individual personal data with advertisers. Advertiser reporting is always aggregated.
Recipients and processors
We only share data with suppliers working on our behalf, such as hosting, database and email services. We have data processing agreements in place with all of them covering appropriate technical and organisational measures, confidentiality and sub-processor management. We never sell your data.
Storage and transfers outside the EEA
Our hosting and database run within the European Union. Where a supplier would process data outside the EEA, this only happens under an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented with additional safeguards.
Retention periods
Form submissions are kept for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact, unless a customer relationship arises, in which case contractual and statutory tax retention periods apply (up to 7 years). Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. Cookie preferences are kept for up to 12 months.
Security
We apply appropriate measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, need-to-know access with role-based authorisation, row level security on our database, logging and monitoring, and periodic supplier reviews.
Data breaches
In the event of a data breach posing a risk to individuals, we notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of discovery and inform data subjects where the law requires it. Business customers are informed without undue delay, in line with our data processing agreement.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, and to withdraw consent. Send your request to privacy@parkingpro-ads.eu; we respond within 30 days. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
Complaints
If you disagree with how we handle your data, please let us know. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy when our services or legislation require it. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
